Komminsk Collection

The following pictures (1462 thru 1497) are from the Diane Komminsk estate, obtained in 2020. Most were compiled in albums put together in the early 1900's by her great-grandmother, Emma Huenke (1857-1936) who with her husband Louis, started the White Mountain Dairy in 1884, which later merged with Beatrice Foods in 1928.

The ownership and operation was passed along to their children, Clifford, also known as C.V. (1882-1934) and Gertrude (1884-1957) who married Harry Komminsk (1887-1959). They in turn passed ownership to their son Paul Lewis (1915-1971) and his wife Betty(1917-1998) and then to Diane (1944-2019).
